Designing Simpler, Smarter Travel

This mobile app concept was developed as part of a collaborative design sprint focused on reimagining airport security and identification workflows in the U.S.
As part of the design team, I worked on:
-
UX/UI design for mobile interactions
-
User flows that streamline security checkpoints
-
Visual design that balances government trust with tech-forward clarity
-
Prototyping and experience mapping for traveller journeys

My Role
As the primary UX/UI and experiential designer on the team, I was responsible for shaping the app’s user journey from start to finish. I focused on creating intuitive flows that addressed the needs of a wide range of travellers, while also developing a visual identity that felt both secure and approachable.
My work involved producing detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity assets, all while collaborating closely with research, strategy, and branding teams to ensure a cohesive and thoughtful user experience.
Behind the scenes...
As the lead designer for the TSA app, I had the incredible opportunity to be part of a high-production presentation shoot, styled in the format of an Keynote @SCADproxDeloitte.
Working closely with both the Deloitte and TSA teams, I not only presented the app I designed but also contributed to the behind-the-scenes production.
The final pitch was filmed in an XR studio, where I assisted with technical logistics—from managing and setting up screens to editing and adjusting environments in Unreal Engine.
This experience allowed me to bring the project to life not just through design, but through storytelling, technology, and spatial experience.
Campaign

As a team, we crafted a location-based campaign that reached travelers just before they arrived at the airport — the moment they were most likely to realise they didn’t have a Real ID.
Together, we designed in-app banners and pop-ups within rideshare apps that linked directly to the TSA Verify download page.
We developed digital screen content for rideshare vehicles in major U.S. cities and created signage placed strategically at airport drop-off points to drive real-time action.
